How Do I Join and How Much Do The Program(s) Cost?

We have a few training programs for you to choose from, or combine, depending on what you are interested in and/or how many members of your family will be joining.

We give all new athletes 1 week free training so you can try us out before signing up for anything.

To take advantage of the 1 week free, please Contact Us, or stop by for a visit, so we can explain to you how the week free works for the program of your choice.

CROSSFIT
After your 1 week of free training, to continue in the CrossFit Classes, we require that you first attend our Elements Classes, which are 4 1-On-1 Training Sessions.

Elements Classes
(for all new CrossFit Champions athletes)

For all new CrossFit Champions athletes, we require that you complete the Elements Class. The Elements Class consists of 4 training sessions that are designed to help you develop a level of proficiency in the more basic, fundamental movements essential to CrossFit training (squat, deadlift, pull-up, push-up, push press, etc.). Each session of the Elements Class also includes a workout, which helps us determine your current state of fitness and point out any weaknesses, imbalances or flexibility issues you may have. In addition, they will introduce you to the intensity levels required to complete CrossFit workouts.

Once you have completed the Elements Class and established a level of proficiency in the movements that will foster safety and effectiveness in your workouts as you increase intensity, you are welcome to join the CrossFit Classes, continue with 1-On-1 Training, or a combination of both.

The Elements Class is scheduled by appointment only so be sure and Contact Us or come by the gym when you are ready to get started.

CrossFit Classes

In CrossFit Classes (group workouts), you will join a like-minded group for a high-intensity workout. As in the 1-On-1 Training sessions, the workouts are modified as needed per the individuals’ needs, goals and abilities. But, the goal is for everyone to achieve the same benefit.

CrossFit Classes consist of varied, functional movements executed at high intensity. We incorporate various weight lifting movements, basic gymnastic movements, traditional metabolic conditioning and core multi-joint lifts in ever changing combinations for always challenging workouts. Exact workouts are repeated rarely as we want the training stimulus, and hence the physical adaptation, to be broad and inclusive.

The Instructor will have everyone warm-up, demonstrate and/or review the workout’s required movement(s), and then make sure everyone is set up with the required equipment. During the workout, each athlete will be coached as needed. The workouts are intense and will push you to new levels of performance and fitness.

CrossFit Class Drop-In = $15
3x/week CrossFit Classes = $105/mo.
Monthly Unlimited CrossFit Classes = $125/mo.

1-On-1 CrossFit Training

In 1-On-1 Training, you will work with a qualified CrossFit Instructor and experienced CrossFit athlete. The 1-On-1 Training sessions are designed to (1) evaluate your needs and help you establish goals, (2) learn safe, effective and functional movements and exercises, (3) understand the CrossFit approach to fitness and training, and (4) if you are a beginner, bring you up to a skill level required to join our popular CrossFit Group Workouts as quicky as possible.

1-On-1 Training sessions are also valuable in teaching intermediate athletes the more advanced movements like the snatch, full cleans, clean & jerks, and muscle-ups, just to name a few.

On a case by case basis, we are happy to accomodate 2-On-1 Training Sessions if you want to train with your spouse or friend.

CROSSFIT KIDS
Our CFC Kids class is 45 minutes long, 3 days per week. Each workout starts with a standard warm-up that includes jogging, stretching and basic exercise movements. Each workout is varied in modality. Weightlifting, body weight movements and cardio are all covered though not necessarily in each workout. New movements are explained and taught prior to workouts. Each workout is scaled to the athlete’s abilities and skills. A cool down follows workouts with stretching finishing up the class. We discuss basics of anatomy or nutrition during stretching.

Each athlete is expected to keep a journal of their workouts to track progress and growth. Even repeated workouts should be more difficult than previous efforts as some dynamic should change to push growth…whether weights get heavier, duration gets longer or repetitions increase, each workout will be new in some way.

Most of all, each class is fun. We have a great group of kids here and want to make sure that exercise is enjoyable no matter where an athlete is currently at in their fitness.

The CrossFit Kids class is based on a rotating curriculum of movements. To enroll your child(ren) in the program, please Contact Us first so we can set you up for the next enrollment period.

MARTIAL ARTS
Our martial arts program consists of Sil-Jeon Mu Sool and Mixed-Martial Arts (MMA).

Sil-Jeon Mu Sool is a structured and systemized Self-Defense program that teaches the use of techniques, skill sets and practical weapons. Our realistic program of instruction offers timely and complete technical training at each rank level all the way to 4th Degree Black Belt. Don’t think of Sil-Jeon Mu Sool as a new system of Taekwondo, because it isn’t. Sil-Jeon Mu Sool is a merge of martial disciplines that follow the principles and concepts of traditional Taekwondo.

In addition, at Champions Combat Arts, we have systematically included in the Sil-Jeon Mu Sool program a complete, modern and effective mixed-martial arts (MMA) curriculum.

As with all our programs, we’re happy to give you your first week free so you can try a couple classes and see what it’s all about.
